Exclusive: First Cinderella's Curse Images Reveal a Horrific New Use for the Classic Glass Slipper

A horrifying new use has been discovered for the classic glass slipper based on two new images of Cinderella's Curse, a horror movie in the vein of the surprisingly successful Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.

The two stills, which can be exclusively revealed by IGN, offer horror fans their first ook at Cincerella's Curse. And well, it's looking pretty bloody.

The first image has Cinderella (Kelly Rian Sanson) screaming into the sky while wearing what looks like the story's fabled dress. Did her trip to the ball go worse than she planned? Who can tell, but she doesn't seem happy.

The second image is a grim look at a very bloody glass slipper. Whatever happened to Cinderella in the first instance, it looks like it triggered a roaring rampage of revenge from our fair heroine.

Originally announced back in May, Cinderella's Curse is another horror movie produced in part by ITN Studios, which also helped produce Blood and Honey. Cinderella's Curse joins films like Peter Pan: Neverland Nightmare in turning beloved children's stories into twisted tales of horror.

Louisa Warren is directing and producing the new film, with Harry Boxley serving as the writer. The cast features Kelly Rian Sanson, Chrissie Wunna, and Danielle Scott.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey was a viral sensation when it was announced last year, with a sequel underway. Cinderella's Curse will be an interesting test of whether that film's novelty will carry over into other stories.

We'll get to see for ourselves when Cinderella's Curse releases this October.
